Florist Delivery Terms and Conditions

Our Service Guarantee

All arrangements from Bayside Florist are prepared using the freshest flowers of the highest quality. In some cases, especially in floral arrangements containing lilies, your flowers will be prepared using closed buds. This is to protect the flowers and to help them last longer.

Due to seasonal availability, it may be necessary to substitute particular flowers and the design or appearance of your arrangement may vary slightly. If substitution is necessary, flowers of similar quality and value will be selected.

If a product or container is unavailable, an item of similar quality and value will be substituted.

The overall look and feel of the arrangement will be as similar as possible the one featured.

Delivery

Orders received before 2pm Monday to Friday will be delivered same day unless you have opted for a delivery date in the future. Orders to be delivered to business addresses must be received by 11am for same day delivery. The business name is required for delivery to business addresses. We can accept late orders after 2pm for same day delivery on special occasions such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas.

Our trading hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturday. We do not deliver on Sundays. If you have selected for your arrangement to be delivered on a Sunday or a Public Holiday, it will automatically be delivered on the NEXT business day.

If there is no-one at home to accept the delivery, we will leave the arrangement in a secure, non-visible location and place a delivery advice in the mailbox. If the arrangement is accepted by another person on the recipient’s behalf, we deem this to be delivered and accept no responsibility for the arrangement from this point onwards.

If a delivery has been attempted unsuccessfully (e.g. incorrect address, locked gates or no safe place), the arrangement will be returned to our shop. We will attempt to contact you to discuss. If a second delivery is required, we will require another delivery fee to the same value as the original delivery fee. Alternatively, you will be given the option to arrange pick-up from our store. If we are unable to contact you, we will wait for you to contact us with further instructions.

Urgent Deliveries

Forgotten something! If you have an urgent delivery request and you have missed our 2pm deadline, please call us on 07 3396 7877 or 0432 691 615. We can usually accommodate urgent delivery requests.

Delivery Outside Delivery Area and International Delivery

If you require delivery outside the area covered by our local delivery service or if you require international delivery, please contact us and we can arrange your order and delivery.

Care of your flowers

You can generally expect your flowers to last from 4-7 days provided they are cared for correctly. Air conditioning, extreme heat or climate changes may also have an effect on the life of your flowers.

Replace or Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your flowers, please let us know by calling 07 3396 7877 or emailing us at lia.smith@baysideflorist.com.au. We will need to view the arrangement and if we are confident that the arrangement has been cared for correctly, we will be happy to replace your arrangement or provide a refund. Any complaints must be made within 48 hours of delivery.

Cancellations

Bayside Florist will accept cancellation of an order unless it has already been prepared or is enroute for delivery.

All cancellations will incur cancellation fees as follows:

Cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date will incur a fee of 25% of the total order value.

Cancellations received more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date will incur a $10 cancellation fee.

If we have bought stock specially to prepare your order e.g. wedding flowers and arrangements, you may be accountable for higher cancellation fees. We will contact you to discuss.
